Is it possible to purchase the Sachs pressure plate and gt3 rs disc alone? Is the RS disc sprung?

Yes but why do you want to keep the heavy dual mass... Not logical? Haven't you rode in early 911's and 930's.. The mechanical sound, the gearbox noise..

Because the price of the kit and its shipping (overseas) increases dramatically and because I hate the "bucket of bolts" type of sound just like I hate drone or any other non OEM type of sound.

Is the RS plate sprung? If no what would be the difference between sprung and unsprung discs?

Thanks

Thank you for your reply. What would be the price of this set up (without LWF)? My clutch is going soon and I'll be in the market for one.

Why is the GT3 T/O bearing a different porsche part number than the GT2 unit.
Can either they be used in a 996TT?
