Like they say luke, if you want to play hardball, make sure you brought your glove. You might want to chat with Yoda for a little advice.

There is no way that your car on street tires is only 4 seconds back from a GT3RS running slicks. A GT3RS with street tires would be 7-10 seconds slower.

You can't sell swamp land as ocean front property here, George.

Looking at the times from the Club Race there last year I would say you were lucky to be in the 1:20-1:29 range.

Greg 1.17 laps with street tires and the a/c on. I will admit I was on the spray in the straights covering some major ground. According to a gps and radar the swamp monster had the fastest mph per lap of ANY car on the property that day. I was only suppose to do a couple of touring laps but I wanted to put the hammer down in the straights. NPR has good long straights to open it up on. They didn't want me to use the giggle gas, but so what I don't want to race the pca circuit anyway just play around. My good friend owns the track so I was in good hands.

So george

What did you put in the nose of that car to get 49/51? Most of those cars - even the V8 cars - are more like 42/58 if my memory serves. My 78 is 39/61 I believe.

Hard for me to believe that a nitrous bottle and a water radiator will balance the small-block and transmission.

The porsche motor weighed 540lbs the small block weighs 440lbs. The radiator is mounted inside the front bumber it was custom made by a winston cup team. The car has three custom made electric fans on the radiator. The cars entire fuel system, brake system, nitrous oxide system and water cooling system are custom made with stainless steel aircraft grade racing hoses along with aeroquip fittings. The car weighs with me in it 3040lbs wet and thats with a full bottle of the giggle gas. It took me three years to build this car along with a ton of R&D.
This is just all in fun, I don't want to track race it for 50 laps or de the car. I just want to do what it was built to do, Take nice cruises down on I-10 east put on some good music light up a good vintage cigar and go to the gulf coast casinos.... If I do run across a moment when its on, I'm ready like General Tommy Franks of the US Army.
No Flames all just in fun...... Leave the Salt Throwing out of it......... its all about the cars

George,

could you post some pics of your car?
The link 'swamp monster' in your previous posts doesn't seem to work.
I must admit that I am somewhat curious to see some pics of the 'swamp monster'.

Thanks.

George -
I notice that you did not actually address the weight distribution question. Did you add balast to the nose of the car? Aluminum block chevy?
