Post increase torque

What modifications would increase engine torque ?What is the best bang for the buck ?

Surf:

Having your DME reprogrammed makes the biggest improvement in torque and power.

Everything else is just more noise,....

For better acceleration and I am willing
to sacrifice some top end what gearing
should you change to? Who sells it and
how much is it? How much difference say
0 to 60 and 1/4 mile will it make?
