Post Where is my ECM?

My tuner needs the ECU number off of my car. Someone tell me where the ECU is located on my 2002 TT?

Thanks,

Dave,
Your ECU is located behind the rear seat on the passenger side.To get to it:
1)Remove rear carpet above and behind rear seats. The carpet just pulls out exposing 2 aluminum trays.
2)Remove the 3 10mm nuts which hold the passenger side aluminum tray in place(only tools needed are 10mm socket, ratchet, short extension)
3)Pull the tray out and flip over to expose the ECU
4)Remove the ECU by loosening the 4 10mm nuts
5)Unclip the ECU plugs starting with the end gray one first. When you go to reinstall plugs, you will start with the black end plug.
I followed these instructions when I sent my ECU off to be upgraded. Only takes 20-30minutes to remove and reinstall.
