I would rather say SAO PAULO is RISKY. Actually 10X more DANGEROUS than living right in the middle east crisis.

But there are other parts of Brazil that aren't that bad like the South and Northeast.

Well not as bad as Mexico and Columbia, perhaps Venezuela and Philipines as well.

BTW, everytime I see that advertisement from the Philipines (?) tourism bureau on CNN I feel like I'm being "scammed"...

:-(

PS: Not in favor of death penalty, but certainly of PRISON FOR LIFE.

I carry a 9mm because it is cheap to shoot. I can become more proficent with a weapon that I shoot more. 2 accurate hits with a 9mm is a lot more effective than 5 unaccurate shots with a .45 also the grip on a .45 is quite large. my Glock with 20 9mm rounds in it weighs less that a colt 1911 .45 empty! I also have a shotgun in my car check out my P-car profile you can see the pic where I used it on a deer that dented the Porsche.
