Post What are the causes of squeaky brakes?

My brand new brakes seem to be squeaking/squeeling when I try and stop from low speeds (eg. slowing down by applying very gentle pressure from 10 MPH to a stop sign). It is brande new and I am pretty certain that I am way past the pad break-in period and that I did the latter with care so there should be no hot spots.
Any help would be appreciated

Go on the pagid website and read about your pads and proper break in/bedding. Break in on Pagids is important so you don't have the really loud fingers on chalkboard squeals! Also I noticed using more pressure rather than light helps as well as using constant pressure, think of stopping at light and only putting pedal down withouth changing pressure- good luck you'll get it.
