Stephen,
It has a Dodge Viper engine and it is built by a small outfit in Wisconsin I believe. It was a one off and nobody has ridden it in other than a straight line. If Dodge can actually make it roadworthy, as in being able to turn it, they theorized about selling it for $300K I believe. The motrocycle community in general thinks it is ridiculous. I am not one of them. I like the engineering of it.

I was very facinated with the front suspension as well as the twin wheels front and rear. There was another bike by Bimota (called the Tesi) that was produced a number of years ago that had a very interesting front suspension. I have attached pics below.

dpblessing,
I saw the turbine motorcycle on TV. Jay Leno owns one. It apparently costs $285K and it uses a Huey chopper turbine engine. It sounds like a jet and they ran it up to 225mph and decided that was fast enough for them even though it had more to go!!!

There was an article on the Tomahawk motorcycle in a recent Popular Mechanics issue. I believe they are building a few. The motorcycle does actually turn.

This is the bike I would ride if I was on a
suicide mission my weempy forearms would make
it a lethal weapon, would make an interesting
drag bike though.

I'm sorry, I didn't see any bike in this picture... Was there one?

Actually, I saw the Dodge Tomahawk nightmare at the Detroit Auto Show - it looked as ridiculous in the flesh as it does in the photos - I was rather skeptical about its authenticity until I noticed they were also playing video of a dude riding it around - albeit rather slowly. Doesn't float my boat too much, though the engineering in the steering alone seems quite fascinating if not a little baffling - suspect it might feel somewhat different trying to drag a peg than my Triumph.
