i have an idea-in order to credential everyone, the author of a posting should include with the posting a link to the last 3 years of his/her 1040 form. this way everyone can determine whether he/she can afford what they state that they will buy.

lets not get into religion. We live in the 21st century. Let science and in this case, the economy do the talking. Lets not talk about things we dont know really exist.

Joe,
Where did it say that I had to buy a car this weekend? Where did it say I had to buy one this month? Where did it say that I had to buy one this year?
As with the SL55 when it happens it happens.
Quit being an idiot. You're like a little kid that needs to go to the bathroom...take a **** already and calm down.

Joe,
As stated in the previous post:
"Where did it say that I had to buy a car this weekend? Where did it say I had to buy one this month? Where did it say that I had to buy one this year?"
May I ask why you can't answer those questions?
Surely a knowledgeable man like you would have an answer to some simple questions. So I ask again:
"Where did it say that I had to buy a car this weekend? Where did it say I had to buy one this month? Where did it say that I had to buy one this year?"
Still waiting Joe...still waiting....

Thanks for the response. Now comes the ultimate question...one that I am sure has been argued or brought up several times (apologies in advanced)
Here is the dilemma:
New 996TT (assuming inv + $7K over) = $110K
Used 996TT (01', 10K) = $92K
New 360 = $160K+
Used 360 ('99, 8K miles, Euro) = $112K
Used 360 ('99, 7K miles, US) = $139K
Please take note that a 996TT will not be stock. I will upgrade the heck out of it, so it's best to add another $10K to the price of the car.
Looking to see what you fellow Porsche owners would do.

Joe,
As stated in the previous 2 post (and for the sake of sticking to car issues - afterall this is what the forum was for):
"Where did it say that I had to buy a car this weekend? Where did it say I had to buy one this month? Where did it say that I had to buy one this year?"

Joe,
Yes that was me in the BLK SL55. It was a great experience.
As for the arguments of buying new or used...there really is none. It's a matter of perspective. I have set a budget of $115K for the next acquisition. And that opens doors to the 996TT (new and used) and 360 (used).
If I think "what's another $15K", I will eventually come to think "what's another $25K", and so on and so on. Personally $15K may not be a whole lot, it's just that I have other places to put it.
On a personal note, I am young and you're almost on the dollar when guessing my age. However I get what I earn and I don't ride on my parents back. I agree most asians inherit wealth from parents, but not all.

Im assuming that when you said you been "running" a company since you graduated, is it fair for me to assume that you were simply asked because of parental connections? Or should I assume that you were so innovative and bright that every big company wanted you to be their number 1 draft pick and you thus went to the highest bidder? Dont tell me that I can assume whatever I want because you know exactly what I want. Your avoiding my questions is starting to shake your own credibility.

Joe,
Third time asking and as I am now sticking to the car issues this forum was meant for:
"Where did it say that I had to buy a car this weekend? Where did it say I had to buy one this month? Where did it say that I had to buy one this year?"
Still waiting Joe....still waiting...
PS - Don't worry about my life, I ain't worried about yours.

I take your constant avoidance as me hitting the jackpot. So if thats the case, it doesnt really matter when you get the car. Make sure to write it off on your company expenses though. Although I am not sure how you can convince the irs that you need a Ferrari as a company car.
FYI:
I never said that you were getting a car this weekend. I merely eluded to the fact that weekends are great for car shopping. Now if i had said, James where is that car you promised, that would be a different story.
I "Ain't" worried about your life. Just want to blow your cover, cuz you an I both know the truth, don't we?

Joe,
By the way, what are your kids names? What school do they go to? Wife's name? What do her parents do for a living? Where in the Hamptons do you live? What streets do you take when you go home? What did you have for lunch today?
You see Joe...it's getting personal and frankly speaking you are not my neighbor. Do you honestly think I'm going list out the details of my life? Are you seriously that dumb to expect that on a public forum? I've told enough and I am going to leave it at that.
And no, you are not "hitting the jackpot", just looking more and more like an ***; I thought I'd help you stop.
