GT3 seatbelt question

GT3 seatbelt question
For those that have not switched to harnesses and have the stock belts:
I can't figure out what to do with the seat belt attachment point ( the thing that the shoulder harness clips into near the console. Right now it is outside of the seat, rubbing the leather off of the seat and I'M sure in time will rub the paint off of the console. Does feeding it through the hole work?, seems like it would be hard on the leg. Any other options?.
Thanks

ooops...I think I misread what you meant.
I believe my seatbelt setup is like yours...all of the pictures that I have seen of Rufs and other cars with GT3 seats seem to set up the belts with the inboard buckle OUTSIDE of the hold as well.

Ed - Could you post a pic of your setup? I'm also interested in mounting 5 pts and was curious as to what is more practical (ie. harness or seatbelt on top on the mounting bolts, how to keep harnesses out of the way, etc.)
Thanks

I also use a 6 pt system with my OEM belts. When I'm not on the track I unclip the lap belts and push the anti-sub belt down under the seat thru the cut-out. THis helps me avoid pinching metal against leather and marring the console.
A piece of advice, during the 6 pt hardware install, when taking out the OEM bolt near the door, (close to the floor) know that there is a thick metal washer which has a nasty habit of falling behind the carpet as you pull out the bolt.
After spending about 30 minutes fishing it out from under the carpet I've taken to taping it or glueing it to the bolt.
If no one hears you screaming obscenities in a frozen garage while fishing for a washer, were you really screaming?

cobra06, I have the 6 point harness and have no problems with the buckle attachment abrading on the console or seats. It does rub along the carpet along the tunnel slightly.
I opted to maintain the stock attachment points for the stock shoulder and lap belts behind the door. And mount the lap belts to the GT3 seat attachment points. When tracking or utilizing the belts, for added safety you will be secured from two separate points. One secured point on the car and one to the seat when using both.
