Ok, just ordered a new set of wheels, HRE 841R Brushed center, polished lips. 19 X 8.5 and 19 X 11.5 with 4" lips.
(reason is that I change my mind every 6 months, got 15" brake upgrade and want to be able to see them <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
Expected in 4-6 weeks. So I will need to get rid of my cargraphics wheels once I get them. They are in great condiditon. I believe only one minor little scratch. List is around $4K. I will be happy to rid of for $2500. I think that's a really fair price.
If anyone is interested, shoot me an email.

thanks
Fred

I am debating between 841R and 847R and silver inners versus poilshed....shoot some pics when you get them to help me decide. Waht brakes did u get?? that is the same reason i want wheels with less inners - to show off more of the Brembo 15" system...

Will 11.5" rub ?? I was going to get 11x19 rears like my current set but with the 4" lip...(although someone at HRE advised that 3.5" would be better if car is lowered??)

Most 19" wheels are heavier , even if forged , due to larger size , esp when wider . Even if a 19" wheel is as light or lighter than the OEM 18" hollow spoke , the much bigger 19" tires are a lot heavier - no way to control that .
Think about it, when upgrading, most guys want not only larger diameter , but wider wheel and wider rubber - all mean more unsprung mass. Bigger brakes mean more unsprung weight also.
I went through a long phase of " plus 1 " and " plus 2 " wheel /tire upgrades on all my Porsches and BMW/MBZs from the late 70s to mid 90s and always marveled at how " light and sprightly " the car felt after returning to OEM rubber before selling , even if it didn't look as hot as the upgrades .

Great choice Fred... I was going to order the 841R's myself in 19's, but with rubber it was more than I wanted to spend on wheels. I am buying a set just like MSINDI's with rubber that only have 1.5 K on them. Could not pass them up and it gets me in 19's are a very reasonable price. I posted the pictures of the 841R's with charcoal centers in an earlier thread.
