Paid $20,000 over sticker and still had to wait a year. But it is sweet. Chicago

I paid 10K over MSRP...waited about a year also. Would have had to wait another 18 months if I didn't take this car, and got on the list before the car was released. Worth it...NO, but I'm impatient! Oh well....

Paid MSRP. Waited one year. Was supposed to be a two year wait, but someone didn't order in time and others weren't returning calls to dealer quickly enough, so I jumped in with my order and my check.

Paid MSRP, no wait, a guy backed out when it arrived at the dealership and they called me knowing that I'm a sucker, er, i mean, enthusiast. Sold my CL500 Sport without regret and have been in heaven since.

I paid MSRP and about 10K. Car had 25 miles, now has 700 (I don't get enough time to drive it!). Received on my birthday a month ago. What adds up is; luxury tax, gas guzzler, license, etc. etc.

I paid $140k in February for a relatively basic car with 80 miles. Managed to get one of the first cars with the hollow spoke wheels. Just guessing - about $20k over list? Saved the luxury tax, etc. because it was not "new".
