you will feel like you've got about 25HP on your buttometer but in reality you will gain maybe 5hp from the exhaust... sorry

A Porsche Tech frined of mine who has 15+ years experience with Porsches and cars in general told me that "ANY claims of horsepower increase with exhaust only are pure bull....! All you do is change the point of the power band peak incrementaly according to changes in backpressure.".....

Very helpful info Chad
I am new to the whole car tuning thing as in the past I did not like to mess with my cars too much.
I just ordered that book you recommended and can't wait to read it.

Chad,
I have read this post with much interest as I am starting to take the baby steps up the ladder to horsepowerdom. Obviously, we each relate these topics to our own experiences and wishes as well.
As you know, I am in the market for the EP as my first upgrade. This choice was based on what I have read here as well as what I have heard from others "in the know". The choice seems to allow the potential for the air in/out equation to work up to around 600rwhp range (feel free to correct me on this). I infer that this will allow me to then change the DV's, upgrade the air filter, add K24's and a chip in the future. The order may not be correct, but the extent is. Is this a wise path to follow in your "Guru" opinion??
Regards,
Ken

Hey sporters78, did I see your car parked on the avenue in Delray on Wednesday (I think) night? I saw 2 TT's and one was grey.
