Default x73 Suspension

I'm in the process of having the factory x73 kit installed on my Turbo S. What are the issues on vibration in the car. Is it that noticeable or not?

any info would be appreciated.

I have X73 and no vibration and no noise.... You will feel the bumps much more than stock.... It rides much tighter.

No problems here.

Are you having the stiffer motor mounts installed?

I bought a CPO tt from the Collection in Florida and discovered that it had H&R lowering
springs on it which is a big no no for a certified car. It also handled like crap. I complained to the dealer and they were nice enough to send me a brand new X73 suspension which I installed
myself. Had it aligned at the dealer and WOW the handling is great. A tad higher than GT2 its the perfect heght for the TT and you do not have to corner balance. Mine came with the motor mounts
(easy to replace) and maybe a slight increase in vibration but it feels very connected. High speed
corners are more precise and I use my brakes less

How much does the X73 suspension cost and where can I get it besides the Porsche dealership?

Unless you need adjustability the X73 is the way to go. No vibration issues.

I live in Boston and have been toying with the idea of installing X73 on my car ever since I got it 2 years ago. However, I have the factory Aerokit front lip, and I occasionally scrape it when I am not able to enter sloped driveways, etc, at an angle. Do any of you guys have X73 AND Aerokit? If so, do you scrape the lip all the time?

thanks

I have the '73 and aerokit, scrapes alot, oh well. The vibration he is referring to is from the solid motor mounts that come with(and must be instaled with) the kit. It is mild at best, only at idle with AC on. It's night and day.
I'm trading my car in on a TT, I'll have a x73 available dirt cheap with 10k miles on it. It's valved and spung for a C4S.

Could I use this setup on my '01 996TT? If not what would I have to do to get it to work on my car?
