Question Painting mirror mounts

My TT is currently at the shop getting the lower part fo the rear bumper and the black bumprettes painted silver to amtch the rest of my car.
I am thinking of getting the exterior mirror mounts also painted. Has anyone at all done this? Would you guys recommend it? any pics?
All responses would be aprreciated

I don't think it looks good on the car unless the car is black. I have seen it done before and will post the picture when I find it. My car was just in the body shop when I too contemplated doing it. The thing is that it ruins the continuity of the window line, and especially with my tinted windows, it just looks smoother all in black.

just my opinion.....

We paint bumperettes all day long - that's what we do. The plastic mounts on the doors are another thing altogether - if that is what you are referring to.

Be sure your shop knows how to paint this material and has done it many MANY times. See the past work to know how it holds up.

If the proper process is not used, you'll be back.
