Post 9ff wing for Sale

Hi guys,

Well looks like my mind has changed again. I think I want another wing. Don't know yet what it will be but in the meantime I thought I would see if any takers for my wing.

The wing new from 9ff is $1805. Mine is already painted in Artic Silver. Will sell for $1500 or BO.

please email me if interested.

Fred

Oh, I forgot to mention that my car is in LA at ByDesign Automotive. So if anyone in SoCal wants it, you can pick it up from Matt.

Thanks,
Fred

Fred,

Quick question about that wing, does it raise and lower like the TT wing? It looks like it does, but wanted to ask. Also I assume it is the wing with decklid you are selling, not just the wing alone?

Hi Ken2ks,

the wing does go up or down liket the stock wing. It goes up at 75mph. As for the wing, I was just going to sell the wing and not the deck lid. Who knows maybe I can sell the deck lid and stock wing for really cheap.

It's a secret. shhhhhhhh.

Just kidding. Since my car is at ByDesign getting tuned, I ordered a new wing. This way when I get the car ready in a week or two, my car will be done ;-)

Here is the new wing I am getting Tech Art Wing

So I need cash to pay my bills and must sell as much as I can ;-)

Nice wing - I have seen it on EVO's site before...Don't know how much I like the carbon piece. Did you consider an OEM GT2 spoiler?? I like the thicker OEM stalks (legs between two planes) more than the skinny techart ones. Then again, I have never seen the Techart stalks painted to match - only in black. I am sure whatever you do it will be sweeeeeet like the rest of your mods.
You California guys have such nice cars!!

Reason I don't want to get the GT2 wing is because I don't have a GT2. Granted the TechArt wing is very close but still isn't an exact duplicate. I do agree that the GT2 stalks are better thick but I too have not seen the TechArt wing in person. I am sure it looks great.

thanks!

Fred - my frined with a Lapis TT wants to get the GT2 wing but I am trying to convince him to go with 9ff so I'll try and get him to buy yours.
I agree with you in that I got the turbo aerokit to avoid being a GT2 wannabe (sorry to all those who have GT2 spoilers - no pun intended!!).

I think the looks of the techart wing are HOT, I saw a full techart car w/ it about 2 years ago maybe and man I just loved it.

Nice choice man!

Fred - your nuts - that techart wing is not as nice as the 9ff wing you have on now - just get the factory GT2 wing if you are gonna change again - after all is that's the look everyone is after when they produce these look a like wings anyway? Why not get the real deal!

I know what you mean Darren. I do agree the GT2 wing is hot, but I don't want to keep answering the question to people "is that a GT2?". My car is unique and I like to add parts that don't copy detail for detail. But that is my choice. Lots of others get the GT2 kit for their TT and they love it.

No matter what, everyone will have their own opinions. Like they say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

Who knows, I might put the TechArt wing on and one day decide to put the GT2 wing. One never knows?
