Ok, being fairly young, and still awaiting the time when i leave home and go off into the world on my own, i have a question for you...

...isnt there some sense of disappointment knowing that you can afford any car you want? I mean, normal people always have something to look forward to, like a dream car. But for you guys, there isnt that feeling of "One day, im gonna get this..." etc etc. Do you get what i'm saying? I'm just wondering what it feels like knowing that you can buy anything you want...and honestly, it just seems like it would be a bit disappointing.

By the way, if any of you wanna help an engineering student at GaTech with a little tuition so i can graduate...feel free to hand over your tax deductable charity checks to me

Clone - you can never really buy everything you want (unless you have a fortune in the 800 million dollar range and above maybe)....
Once you get all the cars you want there is always more. A nice 150 foot Feadship (yacht), a BBJ (Boeing Business Jet), houses here and there....the list goes on.
I remember in my first microeconomics class, the fundamental economic problem is that resources are limited whil humant wants are not.
My 2 cents

Bugati was French. then Italian and now it is bought by Audi. Audi belongs to VW group. The old buggati is owned now by Dauer Racing the guy who made the Porsche 962 Le Mans street version and who had the fastest production car with 404 km/h.
FWIW My wife works for VW and she is the one who made the tools for the body for the new Buggati and D1 (Phaethon) Some special tools using nanotechnology (nanocomposites) to make them stable in order to build some low production cars.
the Veyron is not ready yet.
the next car of VW group will be the new Bentley . It is almost ready.
And if you want my opinion and want something very special buy the 962 Le Mans Street.
A true Porsche made on a full race chassis with all option you want and still faster than any Mc Laren, Zonda and what ever. We are talking about race history and not just about HP numbers or $$$

Back up one page Konstantin, and click on my links. It explains the whole dillema.

So actually, Bugatti was Italian, then German, Then French, then Italian, and finally German again.

Konstantin,

Could you provide more info about the 4.6 litre 911 motors you have spoken about (is there a website or anything about it?)

Thanks!
William

Joe if I were in your position I would try and get your hands on the Carrera GT when she arrives. IMHO
