Default Turbo SPUTTER ?

I just got my Upsolute program, Diverter valves, K&N,plugs and exhaust installed on my 2001. I get going and it shows 1.0 bar, then all of a sudden I feel a few mild sputters(not back fires) but the boost still reads 1.0 . Is it just the turbos unable to keep up the boost for an extended period or what. HELP

Sounds like you need new plugs.

Yes, change the plugs. This is a very common problem. Bet you have over 15K miles on the car.

When you got new plugs did you go one range colder than the stock plugs?

Like everyone has said, change the plugs. Our 01's come with FR-5's, you need to go to FR-6's. That was one reason I waited till almost 30K miles to do my upgrades. Just had the EVO stage 2 program, with EVO DV's, and EVO airbox, and an older EVO prototype (or so I was told) 100cel exhaust. This thing sings now!!
