Ah ok, thanks Doug.

Back to the topic. I went to see my baby today...

Have a look at the floor! Cleaner than my kitchen!

Engine? What engine?...

New turbos and some reinforced pipes:

BTW, the engine gets covered as soon as nobody works on it. Isn't that great?

Heavy-duty clutch:

Dashboard got stolen!

Missile-launchers are ready:

They provide some additional cooling for the brakes (350mm, 6 pistons):

Oh, Andy (Sportec) showed me some hilarious pics they took when they removed the front bumper... ahem... Tons of crap were hidden there, and even a dead bird got stuck there! Should get the pics soon...

Besides that, they'll install a GT2 cooler: 25% bigger than stock Turbo.

Tomorrow, the engine will find its way back to where it belongs. Testing and fine-tuning will then start.

Can't wait, can't wait!

Ok, here the latest news!

The nose is back in place:

The plastic thingies in the wheel-wells have been replaced. Note the cooling duct:

New monster brakes are ready:

Rear brake and my little hand for comparison:

The old front brakes:

Something new in the rear too! The engine's back:

The carbon thing (how's that called?) will provide more air:

More air -> more and bigger pipes:

They got a nice oil change too:

My parts:

That was today, early afternoon. Tomorrow, the car will be tested and fine-tuned at the dyno. We're slowly seeing the end!...

Here the pics from Friday.

Visually, no big change, but we're getting closer to the goal! Ueli Hodel once again took some time to explain me what's been done so far.

Sportec exhaust:

Front wheels are on again, but the transmission link(?) stays out for the dyno:

The dash is back too. The right pic shows the original one:

Tomorrow (Monday) morning, the car is going to the dyno for serious testing and fine-tuning. Damn, we're getting closer!!!

Default Pierre where am I missing the pics

are they on a URL link, the FWD drive has to stay off for the dyno as its a 2wd otherwise you'll break the front driveshaft.

Looks like a winner Pierre. Looking foward to the dyno report and to the day it's ready for pickup.

Please try to post a picture of the debris found in the bumper, including the dead bird. That I got to see!

Got her back this afternoon!!!

I'm leaving tomorrow morning (way too) early for the N'ring, so my driving impressions will follow early next week. But needless to say, it's a beast!

The visible part of the iceberg:

Put the Corsa on:

Dyno results: :t

(Sorry 'bout the quality, will post a better one asap)

So we have 542 HP at 7'160 rpm, ad 787 Nm at 4'190 rpm. Not bad, huh?

Sorry for the short (inexistant) driving-report, but I got it mid-afternoon so I haven't driven much today. Besides, tons of things to finish before leaving...

But... I'll be back!
