Default Blown turbo?

Does 996 Turbo has any turbo issues?
For instance, audi s4 (bi-turbo) has a turbo problem. S4 should replace their
tubos. Is there any problem like that on 996T?

I have not heard of the Porsche blowing turbo's. I'm sure it does as any car will break from time to time, but its not a widspread problem from what I understand.

Turbos are consumables like many other things, but the KKK turbos we use do not have any chronic issues.

Yes, the BOVs come apart and cause FOD to the compressor wheel. Actually it is common.

Since the 996TT shares it's basic design with is 993TT brother, the turbine side seal can fail if it gets cooked. There is plenty of info on that topic a search will yeild some good reading.
