Did you add PCCB's or just paint the calipers yellow?

You Portugese guys clearly don't know your Corvettes

The TT stomps the crap out of a C6.......now the Z06 is another story

Race with him your car's current state. Then race him again after the mods. That way you can better justify your money is being put in good use.

LLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLL You're right! I read 06 instead of C6. The truth is there are VERY few Corvettes in Europe specially in Portugal and Italy due to our taxation laws...

People often mistake a C5 Z06 (405 horsepower)
a C6 (standard Corvette of current latest bodystyle == 400 horsepower) and
C6 Z06 which is current bodystyle in Z06 format, 505 Horsepower and has stood
the Porsche power junkies and the Viper guys "on our ear" temporarily.
The new C6 Z06 is very fast and definitely faster than stock or slightly modifed
K-16 996TT's. Beyond that the "who/what is faster gets more blurry" depending on
the mods we choose. C6 Z06's are running 11.76 or thereabouts stock in quarter mile!!
not too mention a time around "the ring" that wasnt too shabby...

Runflats.

Rear was at 26psi, and fronts were over-inflated.

Funny, the car stock will be told to "go home" if they follow the NHRA rules of 11.xx time needing a cage.

A very experienced drag racer, power shifting a car on race gas (104 octane)that has ~590 hp at the crank (on 93 octane?)...I wonder what he'd do in a Stage 4 Turbo?

I think its great. 590 and the car is still "stock".

Thats 65k spent (well, maybe a MSRP + steeler bendover charge) and some 2k heads, and a what, 1k flash?

What would a turbo be with a stage four? 160k?

How else is GM going to keep the car at 3k pounds? 3100 IIRC. Plastic car, Aluminum structure, AL engine.
