None of the wheels we carry does this.

Described below are details of my experience with the wheels...and the disappointing response from HRE who don't even have the courtesy to return phone calls. It's quite sickening to say the least...
Driving in medium rain/wet conditions on a highway the car felt unstable. At 70mph the steering started to vibrate so strongly that I had to really work hard to maintain control. At 80mph I almost lost total control. Dang! WTF is going on? I said to myself. As an aside, I have driven in worse rain/wet conditions with OEM wheels, on this very same highway, without ever encountering a similar problem.
Then it hit me...water was being retained in the reverse lip of the wheels! When I tried to brake, it scared the living daylights outta me that the brakes wouldn't bite. Shifted down the gears to slow the car and moved over to the extreme right lane. Had to almost stand on the brakes to bring the car to a halt. And this is with the PCCBs...
Eight hours later drove again on the same road which was now dry. No issues. Bottom line...faulty design of the wheels.
Called HRE folks yesterday asking them what they're gonna do about this...after all they took $6k of my money to sell this POS! And 'am getting the usual run around...
Knowing what I know now, I'm obviously not going to buy another set of HRE's...but other than bitch about it what can I possibly do?

Maybe you can sell your HRE's if you decide to go back to OEM.

Techart, Champion, Kinesis, even HRE's (just non R's), etc.... The old step lips did not have this problem...
