Default Boost pressure!!!

My car is a standard 420bhp 996 TT.

What boost should my car be peaking at?
What solid boost should my car be holding?

Thanx,

Nick.

What year and upgrades? Is it an X50? If so, .8 or .9.

At sea level... probably .6 maybe a .7 peak now and then.

You may see .7 in 3rd or 4th gear beyond 4000 rpm.

I occasionally see .8 on mine, usually .7 is the max.

My 2005 Turbo S has never seen 1.0 and only .9 on a few occasions (and It has the X50). Since I only have 860 miles on the car I still have not yet revved the engine above 5000 RPM. I do see .9 when in second, third and fourth gear and approaching 4500 rpm's.

I can not wait to really see what this car feels like from 5000 to 7000 rpm’s. Already, the front end seems like it comes of ft he ground when I am in a corner and hit the gas in second gear. AWD is splendid.
