Do you really need an aero kit on a 03 to 05 Turbo? Don't you think Porsche engineering got it right when they designed the body?

You WILL NOT make 550-575hp like some posters suggested w/ECU/exhaust because you are limited by the stock turbo's but hybrids will get you there and at those powerlevels don't waste your money on aftermarket air intakes or headers. OEM, slightly modified, is fine to about 650-700 and once you reach that plateau ,the stock rods will become your enemy.

I was also told that a stock k24 will simply not produce those figures.... some guys even dunoed and produced 500 to 570 instead of 600+ hp...
But then I wonder if the packages are tuned at pump gas like 91 or 93... or are they at 100 octane...
Also, the whole story of the "area under the curve" should be taken into consideration...
.. Im on my 3rd turbo and Im just learning...

I think he can put as Mark said below 500 to the wheels... So isn't that pretty close to 550 the crank? It's not off that much..... I would agree that is about the limit with those mods...

I agree with Gary, Markski, and Pole; 550 to the crank on K-24's is the upper end.
Beyond that you'll need more fuel, larger volume turbos, etc. I for one am not a fan of the
aftermarket air boxes, but that is just me. Complete new intake for high levels of power
are a different story. With that being said, many people are elated with X-50 +
ECU, exhuast, diverter valves (do not add power, but add piece of mind)
