JB, If you want to be able to switch back and forth with stock program...say for warranty issues, go with GIAC and the handheld switcher. I also used IA and they (Stephen) are great (overnight service).

Duane,

I was not aware that you ever had experience with Protomotive in your car?

Protomotive seems to put out some really fast cars... Scotts's 600 rwhp on stock internals ran a 10.6 1/4 at 135 mph.... not to shabby.

email me overnight that his customer-monitoring system said my A/F ratios went

As funny as this seems, we are not too far away from this as a potential reality.

I'm a little surprised that no one jumped in to talk about the Upsolute. Now, I'm certainly no expert, and my Oct 05 purchase of my 1st turbo certainly does not make me an expert, but the Upsolute seemed like a fairly inexpensive alternative.

So I did it, among quite a few other mods. Since I've done so many mods, (evo headers, diverter valves, V-box; pss9's, and a few more) I have no idea what's contributed the biggest gain. But what I can say is this car is like night and day difference. Boost comes in much earlier, peaks at 1.1, and is awesome fast at my 6000 feet altitude. (not at the stage 4 levels and above of course), but what a difference.

Just seemed like the Upsolute is ok. Was quite inexpensive.

I have a scheduled a track event at the Pueblo race track in early June. Will also run the quarter there to see the numbers. I guess I'll know more then.

After 6 months owning this car, I think I actually like it better than my 360. These are great cars!

I think I can say with assurance that both GIAC and Protomotives programming is superior to Upsolute... I had, cargraphic, fvd, giac, and now protomotive... Im going to get into the details but there are better programs... nothing to take away form a $600 program... it just that its only written for WOT... not good - just my opinion...

My car previously had Stage 2 GIAC software with stock, 93 and 100 octane programs installed on it through IA. The software seemed to work very well overall and Stephen was always great to deal with. Prior to my new modifications being installed, I did have what seemed to a be consistent hesitation problem from 1st to 2nd gear at WOT....but it's hard to know the exact cause for this. To be fair...it could have been caused by a number of things.

I now have Protomotive mods and tuning..and the car is incredible. The hesitation is no longer there (for whatever reason), and the car is unbelievably strong. I also think Todd is unsurpassed in regard to customer service. And I've dealt with many tuners over the years. For *my purposes*...what I have now is exactly what I was looking for.

But I don't want to take anything away from Stephen or his products. My past experience with him and GIAC's software (at the Stage 2 level) was great. And if I hadn't found Protomotive...he most certainly would have gotten my business again.
