Default ABS/PSM light - AGAIN !!!

Story is this.
In oktober 2006 i tuned my car with Sportec ECU and RUF exhaust.
Car was running fine 4000 km with 1,1 bar at peak.
Then at full trottle the ABS/PSM light went on with foultcodes 5525 DME torque error. They checked everything. Airsystem for leaks, sensors , changed MAF sensor 3 times etc.
Car was OK again when they changed the motronic box. This cost me 1600euro.
I have to say this is a tiptronic car with 40 000km.

Everything was then ok again for 4000 km. After a trip with hard driving in Germany lately i see 1,2 bar on full trottle. Spesially in 4. and 5. gear from 3-5000 rpm.
Today, at full trottle, my ABS/PSM light went on again. This happened twice.
Stopp and start lights are gone.
I checked with my Durametric. Foultcodes are MAF sensor and 5525 DME.
Only change is that i did a swap yesterday from my everyday 19" Techart wheels to my 18" OEM wheel with Michelin cup semislic tires i will use on track on monday.
After that i will have the verdict. I more problems i will sell the car.

I assume that my ECU box is gone again? Or is 1,2 bar to much.

Anyone have ideas what it can be?

Where do you live?

1.2 bars is a little to much for stock K16's (please list details about your car year- X50).. Do you have a stock filter and filter housing? Do you have a oil air filter. I doubt that your DME (brain) is at fault.

I'd lean towards replacing your MAF sensor.

Live in Scandinavia. This is a 2001 996 Turbo. Tiptronic with Ruf exh.
Stock airfilter and filter housing.
Strange but i have seen 1.1 bar at peak all the 10 000km ( 6000 miles) since they install the Sportec program . But now, the last 1000 km, i see 1.2 bar. I agree, that to much.
Do you think i need a new more moderate program from Sportec? Or can they adjust this on the wastegates?
Lately MAF sensor has been changed 2-3 times. Last MAF only 4000 km old. DVs are changed with new OEM. No air leaks found.

I think the bottom line is that 1.2bar has to be limited to 1.1 bar.
Agree?
Is it possible that MAF is blown again?

If you are boosting to 1.2 bars on 3 gear shifts. I would strongly recommend a set of Forge bypass valves with the green spring and 1 shim.

1.2bar is WAY to much boost for stock K16's.. You should be seeing 1.1 peaks with 1.0bar sustained..

Have the repair shop turn your wastegate rod adjustment 1/2 to 1 turn back or counterclockwise.

I'd also install a new MAF if you have been a cronic "user"

I have had the same problem driving at low speeds through town, I have changed out my MAF sensor - since then no problems - There is a hose that sits just under the MAF plug I suspected it could be lifting the plug causing it to disconnect for a split second, causing the warning light to come on.

No problem at all when pulling hard or when driving at normal speed
