Sharkman,

Question; I know that k-24's are a direct bolt on to my stock exhuast manifolds.
Why are there two types of headers for my car and if so, how do they differ??
I would assume that k-16's would bolt onto the k-24 headers ??
thanks!

Heya Marty, correct-sir.. They are a direct bolt-on and in fact both of them are to either K16s and K24s. However the larger primaries on the K24 headers are better suited to the flow- not to mention the longer tubes for K24s than the K16 ones. GIAC/EVO was able to get a little more HP from the K24s longer tube ones...

Just an FYI, we've installed all three sets, GT-series, K24 and K16 and they really do go on nice and easy. Only takes an hour.

They do seem like an easy, obvious bolt on for those that change programming,
airflow, turbos, and exhuast.
thanks for the info!

Very much so MK. Not hard to do- unusual for these cars eh? But these are more for people that have already done plenty of other mods and want to eke out a bit more. There are obviously cheaper ways to get more HP....
