That is a great deal. Is this the "stainless" roll bar from Porsche?

Woodster,
If you need a hand and have an extra 12 pack laying around, I know my dad installed his in his GT2. You may try to get in touch with him trough Club/Tech talk. He is always willing to lend a hand.

I hope you have GT3 seats or if you don't that you're not too tall... Using the roll bar without GT3 seats restricts your "room" so to speak

Hi Marty,

I wasn't sure which one you had.. but does it have a horizontal bar in the center as well? That's the one that you really need gt3 seats for...

other than the crossbar, the legs that mount to the seat belt bolt get in the way. if you have gt3/race seats they will not interfere but they will interefe with stock seats. you have to trim away the plastic from the stock seats in order to get full range of motion.

why have a roll bar with no crossbar? does anyone make bolt on for it?

Allows access to the rear seats and lets you use the stock seats, it's actually just as safe as the other bar. Unless it's a welded in rollcage, one bolt in bar is about as good as another.

i was eluding to the fact that you have to get a harness bar to use harnesses since your rollbar doesn't have the crossbar.
