calcareer, Mark's Maha is not mechanically linked, as a car owner it's your call. If your front diff pops on the dyno while doing a run or tuning. Who are you going to blame?? The Maha is very good, however.why risk your front diff? Just spend the money to disconnect your driveshaft and have your car run on the dyno.

It is not mechanically linked. I wouldn't use it. It has two EC in the system with no other link between the rollers so it is software controlled not mechanical. Bad idea IMO.

Listen to Stephen, never put an AWD Porsche on a dyno, never.
I don't care what the operator says, it ain't his car and he ain't gonna pay for any damage. I would be hesitant to even disconnect the front diff, as this will signal a fail in the awd/psm system internally.
If all you want is a benchmark to evaluate mods, just go out and buy a g timer, not as accurate, but still gives you info re hp gains/et improvements, certainly not any worse than some chassis dynos.
