Talking GOING WITH 100 CELL CAT AND STRAIGHT PIPE!

After much soul searching, I plan on my muffler upgrade/change to be the fabspeed 100 cell cats and the straight pipe. With the factory tips. Why....well most hp, lightest, and hopefully no CEL's.
Should be the best of both worlds at least for me.
Reason for this post is only bad thing I have been told by my "car guy Marc" is the "Possiblity" of car going into limp mode due to different turbo spooling that unflashed ecu does not recognize.
Any thoughts...good or bad .... with my plan?? Appreciate the expert opinions!!

Tom, I don't know how much your Fabspeed costs but have you considered a Europipe? To be sure the EP would set you back $5,500-$6,000 installed...but it is a trouble free, super sounding exhaust that will give ~ 15 hp. I 've had mine for ~ 10,000 miles and I never get tired of listening to it's beautiful music.

BTW, I have no business affiliation with EP just a happy customer and admirer of their product. Cheers!

HAHA so true Stephen, I actually sold my race pipes because I am already showing signs of hearing loss according to my doctor!! I run our Race exhaust now which is great during regular driving, but as loud as the straight pipes under full load, couldn't be happier!!

Qirex: My car is only a level 2 which headers do nothing on.... If I wanted them I would have them... I work for a company that sells them and can get them, if I thought they were worth it at the stage I am at, they would be on my car
