Default Front wheel squeaking!

Getting a squeaking nose coming from the front wheel(s) in the 996TT. Car is due to go in soon for a service but I am worried it might be a wheel bearing that needs more urgent attention. Noise comes when rolling with no lock as well as with the wheel deflected. Note, this is not brake noise.

Any thoughts or help appreciated!

A bad wheel bearing will have a thud thud thud sound at speed in a turn.....ie laterally loaded....

Loose sway bar mounts maybe?

Yes, perhaps. Maybe I will just have to take it in. Service takes so long to book in here, I am tiring of the Porsche service runaround.

could be a bent backing plate behind the rotors or something causing them to deflect causing the noise. if your bearings are worn it would cause an overheating situation. after a drive feel your wheels if its hot to the touch without much braking most likely you have a worn bearing.

Thanks. I don't think it can really be a worn bearing based on the noise and lack of heat.
