Default GIAC flash perform like an X50?

For those of you with this upgrade, will the GIAC flash perform like the X50 kit in terms of performance? I was surprised to read that the TT Tip X50 is quicker 0-60 mph than the stock car by .4 seconds, Tip to Tip testing not 6sp. I'm looking specifically for more grunt down low.

I'm no expert and I don't have an x50, but for down low you will get more with the K16s than the K24s...so with the GIAC flash and the K16 turbos you'll get on it faster.

There is a sizeable difference. It will actually run a little better than that. It would be a stretch on the very top end due to the K16 vs K24, but low end and mid range are VERY strong. The K16s spool very quickly and hit hard. We have lots of customers that will not change from stage 2. Most have been pleased with the end results.

guess more of a problem for street drivers light to light (worried about blown mustangs huh?) IMHO dont notice much of a "lag" problem up on boost and rpms at the track. But guess my car what lacks in the beginning makes up in the end

Not really. It's a matter of throttle response - the better it is, the more fun the car is to drive.

I don't know about that, look at the single turbo designs (930 & 964), fun to drive BECAUSE of the massive turbo thrust......

My '78 930 (Andial racing turbo) was NOT fun to drive. It scared the living daylights out of me and it handles like sh*t. It was however, an adreneline rush. I preferred my sc to the 930. IMO, That's why P went with smaller twins.
