does anyone know when the 997 turbo is debuting? is there going to be a model year 06 turbo? cost?

I love the colour but I don't think it looks aggresive enough. I not at all fond of those strakes in the intake a-la Testa Rossa and F Car 348!

 

Am I biased or does the 996tt look better? Yeah, the 993 guys said that too, but the 997tt seems wrong somehow. Maybe it will be better in person. AS

 

Really doesn't look all that different to me. Differences look even slighter than the 996 to 997, which IMO, is only mild at best.

dont care about "how it looks" as much as what will it have that are cars dont!!

If that is really what it will be like - it's butt-ugly!

Those slats, etc. make it look like some rice-rocket kids idea of what a Porsche Turbo should look like.

My guess is that the actual version (as oppossed to this computer rendition) will be much better looking. Let's hope so!

 

Sorry, Amigos...IF that's the new 997 TT, I'm about to heave... I'm a 993 Purist, and 996 TT enthusiast. I'd still give it a chance, but jeez, LOOK AT IT! It's...it's ulgy...like a rehashed version of...something! I REALLY hope Porsche refines the lines and make it look more agressive...that's why I LIKE THE 996 TT...when it came out, it looked like it could eat you alive, and not car, then move on to other members of your family!

Ok guys, looks aside what does this new version have to offer performance wise?????? new corvette ZO6 performance numbers would make it look alot "prettier"
