Default Damaged Muffler during transport

I thought my beautiful TT sounded a little funky
I have submitted a claim and will not reveal the transport company
until they have dealt with my claim, needless to say I was not tickled!

On a good note, I have begun my quest for horsepower and have ordered
a PSI quiet exhaust system from Neil @ Orton Performance (no affiliation
to me but is certainly a very knowledgeable/helpful guy!).

My results on both fronts to follow in a few days, other than that
I love the way the car drives/handles, etc.

Hey Woodster,

Interesting that your presumably insured exhaust is the same one you were planning on tossing anyway. How'd you arrange that? Wonder if I can get the same transport company to come over and indvertently mess up my stock turbos. Just checking. Let us know how it turns out. Glad you love the car regardless!

Any idea/explanation as to how that happened?
I'm assuming you thoroughly checked the rest of the underside of the car as well.

Enjoy the car Marty! **** happens!!
Between this and the no-start due to the carpet, you're getting all of the bugs out of the way fast.

The sound is not very well tuned either, ala fabspeed (donning flame suit)!
LOL!

(I did love the fabspeed maxflow mufflers on my 993tt but is entirely different sound)

Just got mine off the truck several weeks ago and lucky no damage. Sorry about yours, good time to upgrade. Anyway reason I'm replying is only thing that worried me about my transport (Denver to Tampa) was contract stated "not responsible for under carriage damage!" Hope yours is different!!

Congrats again and good luck, let us know re new muffler and how it goes, my next move!!
