Default CA smog II?

Do 996tt cars have to run on a dyno in smog II areas? If not, do you just get the visual and idle tests?

There are no Smog dyno's that can accept AWD. Therefore, all that must be done is a visual and idle test . The GT2 can run on the Smog dyno though.

Interesting. So I guess smog checks are not much of an issue on anything but the most highly modified car... particulalry in light of the limited view of the motor.

As long as the cats are in place as well as the other smog equipment to pass a visual, there should be no problem even with high horsepower modifications.
