Default So Say you Found One?

I think I found an 01 TT and 5k miles for 75k. After another P related experience this weekend I think I'd like to have a P warranty. I have been told that as long as the factory warranty is in force then all that is required is an inspection and P will sell me one. Is that the case or am I missing something?

TIA

Porsche will only get you a certified warranty if you're buying from a dealer.
If you're buying from an individual, you'll have to go to a 3rd party warranty.

This is a subject you should search on. It's been discussed A LOT.

I personally don't have any recommendations, sorry.

Ask your dealer which company works with them best.

You can sell it to the dealer, get it certified, and buy it back from the dealer. ("In and out" transaction).

Then you'd have sales tax, at least in Illinois.
