Hi everyone! Im a newbie.

How is much should i pay for this car? and would I have a hard time reselling it?

Options include

Part assist

100k warranty. or sept 2006 w/ $100 deductible

There are so many Twin Turbos around that it is not necessary to go to the East Coast for one. Be patient and you'll find a local car (and history) for a reasonable price.

N.E.. coast = rust (salted roads). that's a hard concept for a Californian to understand (I lived in both places) . Garage queens excepted......

well I like this one because it has the options i want gt2 wing, full carbon with steering wheel, nav, etc. I cant find another one with the right price with these upgrades. one in CA 02turbo 14k miles with these mods with 500+hp but $100k+ is it worth the extra 40k??

As for the car's history, i called the dealers where it was serviced.. Everything seems clean. Im not too worried about mileage because a car can have problems at any point in time. and most importantly this one does have a 100k warranty. This car is serviced regularly according to the dealers with no major issues so it sounds good.

There will be a dearth of buyers. My prediction is that something in the 50"s will do it. High performance cars with high miles are tough to sell. Starting from it's base price of about $112,000, and asserting that performance mods add next to nothing on the resale side, this car is past 50% depreciated. I would not be surprised if a cash offer of 52K got the car. AS

52k for 2001 porsche turbo? never heard of that before,,. ive seen one sell for 57500 with 68k miles no warranty, minimal upgrades. That is the cheapest ive seen.

There are so many of these for sale its scary! I believe mint low mile 01's can be had for mid 70's...I found a nice blue/cashmere with 14K miles for an asking price of $79K...
Where is the bottom for this model?

Supra,
You can always go up. This car is not worth buying unless you buy it right. You are in the minority of buyers who would even consider this purchase. You will also have plenty of time for the negotiation, as it is unlikely anyone is snapping this up at a price a much lower mileage car would bring. There is nothing wrong with a low offer and waiting. You will have a tough time reselling it, especially since lower mileage cars will be available in the high 60"s soon.
The bottom price for these cars hasn't been reached. The new ZO6 will drain some buyers, the new Carrera will as well. Market uncertainty, high fuel prices, cheaper 360 Ferrari's will all lower the prices further. And the new tt isn't even out yet. If that one is significantly improved, there will be a further decrement. The only positive factor is the Euro exchange rate which should make new Porsches MUCH more expensive. We will need to see the sticker on an 06. AS
