New Tranny Break-in period?
Quick question. First off though, thanks to all in this forum regarding the isssue of popping out of gear. My 2002tt (non X50) just had a new tranny installed by the dealer (Parktown, St. Louis) due to its popping out of 2nd gear. I used the info gleaned here to make my case, and it was a non-issue.
My Q: I have a DE in ten days. Is there a break-in period for the new gearbox?
