Default Cold Start Exhaust White Smoke

I have a 05 Turbo S, and I've notice on cold starts or the car has not been driven awhile, that i see white smoke on the exhaust. is this normal? I've only got 500 miles on it, and have not gone over the 4200 rpm brake-in period. Should I been concerned about this. Any feedback would be great! I still will take the car in for check-up at the dealer.

Do you do idle cool downs after driving your Turbo?

Sometimes I'll have a patch of white smoke coming from right side of the exhaust after a short distance hard drive (what I mean by hard is driving it at around 4000 rpm at low gear). Is this normal? Should I be worried?

Perfectly normal. in case you don't already, cool the turbos down before shutting the car off. I run it at idol for about a minute... longer if I've romped on it. Enjoy your car!

gee golly wizzzzz white smoke on a cold day no worries , have never seen a car that did not admit white smoke on a cold day it is almost like fog warm air meets cold air equals white smoke .. steam cold day watch your breath guess what it's white... condensation equals white smoke. only bad thing could be head gasket but tha would be white smoke all the time and high engine temp...

don't think 4 k is hard driving any way white smoke is almost always water. check your oil if it is milky than you have a prob if not no worries unless your water level is always low good luck .........

You better go easy on than thing. You're going to burn your engine out driving at 4000 RPM!

Is 4000 rpm too hard? Burn out a turbo engine at 4000rpm? are you serious?

just put kevins turbos on my 01 his idea is to keep the car out of boost for 50 miles then slowly bring up boost for the next 50 miles(longest 100 miles of my life) then head to the remapper ... sooooo 4 grand is just a tad shallow.....

Mine smoked at 500 miles than took a little trip through the mountains in 2nd and 3rd gears but never went over 4100k. When I got home I had 825 miles on it and it does not smoke anymore or use any oil. GO DRIVE IT
