Cool almost 200'000 km !

So, the 200'000 km service has just been done (see pics), and we're approaching the magical line!...

The tranny still makes some strange noise, but it's been stable for the last 20'000 km, so I'll really worry when it'll increase. The H&R suspension (3 years old, lots of track days) will be replaced. Besides that, things are looking ok, and there's still no rattle whatsoever. But yeah, the lady's getting a bit old, and I'm now keeping an eye on next year's 997 Turbo.

Greetings,
--Pierre

Probably, yes. Someone in Spain had like 145'000 km, and another Swiss guy just crossed 100'000km, but if someone has or knows of a 996 Turbo with more km than mine, I'd be glad to hear it!

Pierre...you should notify the CEO of Porsche of your accomplishment. Who knows, they may use this for their marketing, and maybe provide you with a new Turbo to further carry on the brand...

My dealer already used it for his marketing!... I even met a few potential customers who wanted to see my car!... And if PAG would like me to keep promoting the brand, I'm open to any suggestion!

Pierre, congrads! I have used you for my marketing purposes recently.... Time will tell if it worked.
Could your dealer be reason for your success with the car. Is that a service bay or an operating room. That is the cleanest service center I have ever seen!

My car has been serviced there every time (except once when I tried another dealer and wasn't happy at all). The salesmen and the mechanics have become friends, and I trust them. They're also in charge of (most of) the technical assistance for the Swiss Porsche Cup, so they know their job and do it with passion. My car definitely wouldn't be in this shape without them.

I'll post the 200'000 km picture very soon!

Greetings
