Laura,
I apologize if my info was incorrect. I only gathered that from the customer I have flashed that said all that was available for them through REVO was a NA 996 file at GT3 File and a X50 K24 file for the normal 996TT fitted with K24s. That only came about with the question to me what Porsches we flash. Which is pretty much all of them.

Pole Position,
Look at Excellence this month. You will find that GIAC had programs running on cars that made 600+ to the wheels. My daily driver did 680 to the wheels and 744 TQ to the wheels. At 15 % that is about 800 HP and 875TQ. Zuccones TT did 831 to the wheels. That is 977 @ 15 % loss. This is all confirmed in the article. However I am sure we can scan the sheets for you if you would like. Sorry they are all at the wheels. You can not realistically without reinventing the wheel run a TT with 7.8M an engine dyno. The article is also on line.

So certain german tuners are reinventing the wheel when they put 996tt motors on a engine dyno ?
Are you denying the fact that it is done overseas ?

Not at all, however it is not as cut and dry as suggested. The easiest way for most of us to tune is on a chassis dyno. In most cases an engine dyno is close but often yields a need for farther adjustments on the chassis dyno. In all fairness that is not 100% either. It is not uncommon to data log and find that fine tuning is finished up on the street. The time and effort spent to wire the motor the way it needs to be wired to make all the outlets happy and function is not worth it when a quality dyno can be used and loaded to tune.

I heard yesterday from a source that you could only flash the computer once. Is that true????

Not with our software. You can unplug the cord in the middle of loading and simply redo it. Some other companies in the VW and Audi world will lock up the ECU if this happens because of the way their software writes. You will then have to desolder the chip and clean the mess up the hard way. Ours is idiot proof and can be flash several times without issue. Can't speak for Revo. Ask Laura.

With REVO you may reflsh as many times as you want, inclding any software upgrades. REVO engineers have made sure that interruptions during flash program are fully recoverable without requiring any computer work.
