Do the 2001+ TT have the sport exhaust option?

The "sport exhaust" referred to in many ads for used TT's is actually the nonsymmetrical quad-pipe "look" exhaust TIPS from the X50 package, which was (is?) an option on the Turbo.
Here's a question I've wondered about:
The Turbo was introduced by Porsche in '00 as a "LEV" (low emissions vehicle). I believe the factory catalytic converters responsible for this are "400 cell" with two sets of O2 sensors in each one monitoring fuel mixture. The best performance gains by the various aftermarket exhaust systems include "100 cell racing cats". How does this effect emissions? If the cars still passes (which I guess it must) why would Porsche use restrictive cats on their highest performance car?

Yes. But you are talking 100 cell racing cats should be standard on the turbos? That has to be alot louder inside and outside than the average twin turbo driver wants. I have a techart sport exhaust, 200 cell cats. That is probably louder than the average twin turbo driver wants. We are all enthusasts here on rennlist.
