Anyone with a TT had problems after their warranty expired? If so, how much to fix?

As far as I know, there's no 3rd party extended warranty for TT

Since the factory warranty is for 4 years, and the first 996TT was model year 2001, I doubt if any warranties have expired yet.

Nope.........for 01 the Warranty was 3yrs 50K.
Many went out of warranty 10-12 months ago.
To the original question........."how much to fix"....well, depends on what you are fixing.
I probably spend at least $2000/yr on this or that on the car every yr warranty or no.....some w/the dlr, some with some good local shops.

I don't know why because all P-cars sold in the US had a 4/50 warranty as of MY '99.

I GOT RIPPED !

Seriously......I'll check w/dealer tomarrow (an scan a file of the page from my warranty book)......maybe my car was actually not an 01.... but an early prototype, and they already had a yr of testing on it.

I got one of the first 996tts in the country, in Summer of '00. This August I had a tranny
problem, and they gave me a new one at no cost.

I've had trans programing issues and a cylinder head replaced under warranty. Dealer gave me a Boxster and CayenneS to drive while the work was done.

OK....I feel like an idiot here

I always interpreted this chart as 3 years......my excuse is, I don't think it's a good chart.
Funny thing, this last yr I got several mails a car was going off warranty....at that time I was thinking it was Turbo.
Good news.......I have 5 months left

Hey, that's not an excuse. There's nothing wrong with the chart. All the rest of us have been able to make sense of it.

I got my 2001 TT in May of 2000. It is clearly out of warranty, but I just had an issue with the front windshield and Porsche was great. they covered anyway!!

I say thanks to Porsche and my dealer, O'Daniel in Fort Wayne, IN.
