Default this a fair 01 911TT price?

Dealer has 6 speed, 7k mile, 2 Year Porsche Approved Warranty, Sport Seats, red 911TT which they selling at around $87k. I am assuming they can go as low as $84k? Is that an OK price or should I ask for something less?

Thanks in advance,

KJ

45 people who read it so far with no opinions?

come on, someone must think one of the following:

A) overpriced
B) just right
C) underpriced
D) specific price to offer

:-)

I just bought an '01 with 15K miles for 86K.

Sounds like a good deal if the car is clean and straight. Go for it.

jake, do you think 88 for an 02 black/savvanah with 8400 miles is reasonble. Car seems clean. Thanks

Well, I just purchased an 01 with 5050 miles, and loaded with every option except for heated seats, sport seats and crest in the headrests for 86k also. Absolutely no paint work and no dents or scratches. The car is arctic silver with black supple leather.
By the way, your car sounds like a fair deal, and in the right ball park for numbers. Average NADA retail for an 01 TT is 86075 plus some small adds for accessories, but the biggest add is mileage which adds 3525 since your car has less than 7500 miles on it. I searched for over 2 months for mine, and you will feel it if it is the right deal. Best of luck to you.

Finding the right car is far more important than squeezing the last dollars out of the deal, especially if you intend to keep the car for a while. The miles and warranty would lean me to this car as compared to one with 20K more miles and no warranty for $10,000 less.

I totally agree with Alexander, since I could have bought an 02 with 29k miles and zero for options from a local dealer for about 88k. They were asking 94.9k at first, but was willing to wholesale it to where I work for 88k. I decided for an 01 with only 5k miles and alot more options. I felt this was alot better of a deal. I think for resale value, it is better to have a year older car with alot lower miles on it.

Yes, sounds good price wise. Remember, a lot of these MY 2001 cars are out of their original factory warranty or about to be.

As with any Porsche; full documentation, complete history, proper preventative maintenance, and proper use increase the value.

The mileage topic... has been beaten to death.
