I beleive the spacers go on the front, at least that's what I gather from reading the 6Speed GT2 bumper install thread

I’ve been referencing that thread as well but still was not 100%.
I may have to test fit the top vent and see what happens.

Anyone else able to confirm the insertion direction direction of the spacers? Or if those drain tubes will be in the way?
Thanks.

The spacers in the pictures are wrong who originally made the guide on 6speed and I even posted on the thread about it. You can see the correct way in my build thread: (from the front like you have)

Thanks, So I guess I didn't think that there really still is two different orientations that I had not considered.... So if the spacer is supposed to be inserted through the front of the chminey duct, does the long end of the spacer go through the duct or the short end? From your pics it looks like the short end (up to the snap ring) is inserted into the front of the duct, whereas I was inserting the longer side of the spacer into the front of the duct.

Scratch that thought, I just took a look at it again and there is no way the short end can be inserted first and still be able to connect the duct to the rad as it pushes them too far apart that way.

Next I have to figure out this horn bracket. From my RUF invoice, I was supposed to receive 99663515030, however 99663501501 was sent and is the same part number that I pulled off my car. Does anyone know if they are the same or different? Anyone have a picture of the GT2 horn bracket for reference?

Thanks.

I think you have it right on both counts; how it is oriented and the insertion/snap ring orientation. I don't have a pic of that part but what you described sounds right.

I had an issue with the emergency frunk pop being in the way. Not sure what year your car is but my '04 had the glow in the dark handle in the frunk and the pop release was in the way of the chimney. I ended up removing the whole mechanism because I did not want to cut the chimney for it to fit and you could see it once the bumper cover was installed. I don't want the children in the frunk to get out anyways so it is a win-win.

Thanks! Yup, they're definately different and the 2nd one is not what they had sent. I have the same part number on both that I have, so they sent me the wrong one.

Are you guys all using a fabbed aluminum mounting bar on the center duct?

I did reused mine by using new rivets. You can see it in the first pic above. The only issue I found was there was a tension in the upper portion of the duct that caused it to bend downward. It added a step to mounting the bumper cover to make sure that the upper portion of the center duct was above the bumper opening. You can see on the right hand side of my first pic how the upper portion bows downward.

What do you mean by “reused”?
The duct I have is only plastic it would seem that I could simply screw it to the radiator, but seems like many are buying some angle stock and fitting it to the duct.

My stock radiator shroud had an aluminum strip holding it in place. I drilled out the rivets and reused the strip on the new one. You can see it in the pics.

When fitting the front duct, I noticed that the tabs on bottom of the chimney duct have pulled away from the center rad after putting the spacers in and bolting everything up.
What might cause this? Is the rad not tilted forward enough or other?
