That is exactly how I got into this predicament in the first place...

New turbos let to 90mm Inconel exhaust, exhaust led to new injectors, new injectors led to new fuel line, new fuel line led to new intake, new intake led to new 47mm headers, new headers led to .... pull the engine out and add rods and pistons....

DOES IT EVER END????!!!!!!

This thread is drifting off my original topic. The title of this thread is Ultimate Motorwerks K24 build/testing process.

The below picture shows a new "stock" K24 vs Ulimate Motowerks K24/26 or UMW Stage 2C

The below picture shows the stock K24 turbine "not" ported vs the Ported K24 turbine housing

Those are truly a beautiful piece of machining.

It would seem to me, and I don't know the power capacity of a k24 with that kind of work, that, it would be advantageous to use something like that in say a state where 'visual' inspection could screw you if it was no longer stock.

One of the greatest days in BC was when Air Care was scrapped and we no longer had to take our cars in annually for dyno and visual inspections.

How much power does a turbo of this nature actually make?

Also really like the ceramics on the turbine housing.

The most I've seen from the K24 is around 760 wheel from the Pineapple Express build if you want to search for it. Most guys don't max the K24 setups because if you've got the money for the engine and trans build you go to a monster turbo setup aiming for 1000+.

So 760whp, is at least 840 at the crank.

That's very respectable.
