Best source for 5 bar FPR?
#2
Sam at By Design has them. As does Markski. Sam is - 10$ at $150.00.
They may be "crushed" however. I think this is the one? Pwdrhound would know where to source. Possibly FVD if not Porsche direct.

My best guess were Pwdrhound to "source" and FVD. Here's the FVD/Brombacher "Motorsports" version.
AutoAtlanta also offers them. They are all sourced out of Germany http://www.autoatlanta.com/Porsche-9...ator-srch.html

Thanks all for the feedback. I read on this forum or an 6speed, of someone who had tested one of the crushed FPRs and it was not consistent in delivering at 5 bar, which is why I am looking for a Bosch one.

Suspect you are talking about the Bosch motorsports one similar to this thread.

@powdrhound was the OP and I suspect it was sourced through his motorsports account or his seemingly endless parts reserve ! I’d check with him and see if he can assist in sourcing one.

Hi guys. Thanks for tagging so I could see this. It’s strange if I did not reply. I do try to check spam every day, but sometimes emails will go through the cracks. Otherwise I’m pretty quick.
We have been selling the modified unit from Neuspeed, which has been on point. They test them before they ship and I’ve never had an issue. If you’re having fuel pressure fluctuations, it might be the pump. The Motorsport unit has become extremely expensive and tough to get. There’s also an adjustable unit out there that’s been available for many years goes up to 6.0.

Wow they really crush them? Brings me back to the old days when we would put DSM metal bypass valves in a vice to crush them to hold more boost. I guess they're accomplishing the same thing, just making the spring have more tension? Interesting.

If you ran high boost on a bugeye WRX you could crush the stock BOV

I haven’t done one of these in a while since the injectors have become much more widely used. But Neuspeed is the best source because they actually test/verify them.
