Exhaust with no drone??

K24/20g w/ Marksi Sport exhaust (larger mufflers) and GESI cats. Zero done. It's a decent bit louder than stock and yells pretty good at WOT, but doesn't kill your ears. I also tend to not lug the motor which helps. Video at WOT below.

These are the best catalysts you can get. Substantially better than the HJS 200cip HD tuner cats often used by aftermarket manufacturers. I have later used even larger versions of the HJS Motorsport PE 100cpi catalysts on other exhausts. I used both the 130mm version and also the giant 153mm version. The larger the version, the better they will flow. Simple math..

RUF had 128/130mm 100 cell cat cartridges on the shelf for there 993TT conversions. For the RUF 590 and RT12 with larger displacement engines, the larger diameter cartridges were used.

I had a RUF exhaust on my 550 Rturbo back in the days. The catalyst RUF used was a high end HJS/Emitec Motorsport 100cpi unit. It was the 108mm (4.25") diameter version.

When you say better..do you mean they flow better or clean better? ..or both?

I am more interested in the cats as a resonator/muffler as sorts as I don't want to run straight pipes. On any other car I would as I could tone it down via a muffler or resonator in the midpipe but these cars are pretty loud bone stock.

I'm running a 991.2 akropovic gt3rs center muffler with pipes connecting it directly from turbo. It's by far the most quiet exhaust I've had at idle and during normal driving you can even have a phone conversation with your wife while driving with windows closed. Under WOT is screams

Currently have a Remus exhaust on my car. Not sure if it includes downpipes or sport cats. It is loud and causes some vibrations of interior panels at certain RPM's but is not insanely loud or annoying. I am sure my neighbors don't like cold starts at 7AM, but even a stock exhaust would be annoying since I live so close to others. No one has ever complained to me about the noise. It does not make the pops that sound like gunshots that it seems many aftermarket exhausts do now. My house backs to the highway and I hear those all the time and do not understand how anyone likes that.
