Now that I am pondering it. I wonder if the Kline decat pipes look exactly like Kline's 200 cel cats. That's what my de-cat pipes look like exactly. Maybe they are just hollow for decat.

It' been doin it for awhile. I replaced the battery and I figured it was the pump getting old and for what its worth, it does seem to pull better with the new pump in but this symptom is still there.

The inconel de-cat pipes look like this:

look like you got cats

I can get a set of cats made for alot less than using the high end stuff and it should still flow good enough for what I need. Dont want to run de-catted as I want tominimize drone

I have cats on my Kline currently but it's not the Inconel. That pic I first posted is a stock photo I believe from Sam @ By Design which is where I first got the exhaust and he also gave me the decat pipes. The decat pipes I have look like the same ones in the photo, so perhaps they are an exact match in size as if with cats? They don\'t look at all like the Inconel ones you just posted. I suppose the Inconel setup is configured differently(?) than the "regular" 2.5 exhaust I have. It's the 304 stainless steel version I have. I got it just as they were introduced to market back when.

When I ran catless I never had an issue with drone ( or drone when catted either ) it's the un-burnt fuel odor I wasn't crazy about, but mostly only at standstill. I once had an angry "Karen" berate me in a parking lot at the beach when the car was idling she bitc*ed me out. I told her to relax, I was saving whales and a card carrying member of Santa Monica's "Heal The Bay" - so let me drive my car in peace!

Running catless in Santa Monica, CA is like a capital crime.

They do not look like the cats, they look like test pipes.

Yes the catless exhaust smells. I wouldn't do it again. The turbo whistle sounds really open and good at least.

Same here, but that car is insured in Alberta, and Alberta does not require cats.... When the gt35 spools up, sounds like a little turbine.

Very cool.

I liked the smell of E85 and no cats on my last fun turbo car.

I'm running Boostane octane additive to add to the toxic smell, it's pretty bad. I don't think I can run Boostane with cats though.

I have so many questions about your experience with Boostane as I'm contemplating carrying a few bottles for an upcoming road trip where I know the best I could hope for is 91 octane and in some places only 89.
  1. How do you go about carrying the Boostane? I've seen Matt Farah's pelican case w/ two glass bottles he was carrying with his Deman spyder.
  2. How much are you typically using per tank? Per fill up?
  3. Have you noticed any orange residue on your spark plugs, O2 sensors, or exhaust tips?
  4. What is your target octane when you're mixing it?
  5. Have you noticed any ill effects?
  6. How long have you been using it?

I thought the car was smart enough to pull timing when it got less than ideal fuel?
