20+ year old stereo, so no surprise that it's acting a little wonky. I'd replace it with something new as you'll not only enjoy the improved sound, but also all of the added features of a modern stereo. Of course, keep the old one for when you sell the car.

And, congratulations on the purchase. You need to post some pics, because we like pictures!

This is true - actually going to have the Porsche Classic unit installed while it’s at my dealer for the accumulator!

Haha - thanks and here you go! Not a great picture but all I have at the moment.

Looks clean on the outside, congrats. Was the front bumper re-sprayed? or just real low mileage car or PPF?

Thanks! All original paint - has about 12k miles and previous owner had it PPF’d so pretty much immaculate. Interior is somehow even more clean than the exterior.

Wow, looks like a GEM! Congrats again, will you drive it or park it?

Thank you! Likely a bit of both if I’m honest. I find enjoyment doing small tweaks and refreshes to get my cars as close to a time capsule as possible, and then do a weekend drive once or twice a month. I unfortunately don’t live in a city that’s conducive to driving a car like this on a regular basis.

Such a low miles car, I would probably drive it on weekends only too. I do that with my car, it has 36k miles, couldn't imagine only having 12k miles. Pretty crazy. I would probably keep it 100% stock if it were mine, as it is a beautiful example, almost too beautiful, lol, can create a dilemma re: driving

Enjoy.

Beautiful car! Enjoy it while you can.

Thanks,
