When registering, participants must enter "6speedtrackday" into the Promotional Code" box on the page.
REGISTRATION

EVENT DETAILS

Lets get 50-90 cars here. And for those who don't want to race, just meet us all there to chat/check out everyone rides and enjoy P-cars racing!!

Thanks for spreading the word!
Hmmmm.... I just looked at the sign-up list at the registration site, and it doesn't seem that this is a P-car only event. Did I misread/misinterpret something ?

Nothing against the other cars, I was just under the impression that this was a P-car only event.

Hi Andy,

To answer your questions, the event will be to make it a Porsche Only Track Day. If not enough P-cars sign up, then I will have to open it up to other cars. To reserve the track you have to pay up front so to get your money back you need a minimum of 50 cars. I can't see us not getting 50 P-cars though.

If you do go to the registration page it does state it's for Porsche owners.

Entry Fee
$185 - All 6SpeedOnline.com members and Porsche owners
$10 - Lunch for non-drivers

This is an exclusive club event open to only members of 6SpeedOnline.com and all other Porsche owners. To qualify for the special price of $185, participants must send in their payments by the July 15th deadline. The normal entry price of $215 applies otherwise. (Entry fee includes lunch, beverages and snacks)

See you there.

"All 6SpeedOnline.com members". Are all 6SpeedOnline.com members == Porsche Owners == Porsche Drivers on the track ? :-)

Meaning, if you own a P-car, but decide to track your <insert your non-Pcar name here>, is that ok ?

Already, according to the link I posted above, it seems like there are already non-P-Cars signed up for the event. Again, nothing against those cars, it just seems that non-P-Cars are 'already' on the agenda.

btw... thanks SO much for setting this up !!!

Thanks,

Andy

Andy,

The non P-cars who signed up will be contacted and told that this is a Porsche ONLY event. Great questions Andy but please be patient and just go with the flow.

If you have any doubts then I suggest you don't go. Sometimes you just have to take a chance in life.

thanks

Ok. Sorry about the barrage of questions. Sometimes its in my nature to get clarification when I see discrepancies. I hope I didn't come off sounding impatient. But, I probably DID come off like a guy who asks a lot of questions!

It's not so much that I have doubts, it's more that I have a lot of questions.

Thanks again for putting this on! ... and for "patiently" answering my questions!

Thanks, I have already signed up with them. There are just so many new track event organizers that are cropping up these days. I'm starting to lose track of all the names. Thanks for the feedback !! Hope to meet you at the event!

Safety is # 1 for me. I have run with some groups (whom I will not name here), where they were good at what they were focused on. But Safety didn't strike me as #1. Granted, you can't always predict those who are running 11/10'ths ;-). But some organizations are better than others at weeding them 'early' in the day, before they cause any 'pain' to someone.

Thanks,

Andy

Just check the XML link... they last updated no earlier than 6/8 at night. They're pretty quick about updating the link. Had you registered AND paid ?
